Yesterday I went to see my friend Kristan (who's a travel consultant) to book flights to Europe. We’re going to pay for them sometime next week. I’m so excited now, it’s suddenly seeming a lot more real!
After a lot of changing my mind about details for the last few weeks, Owen and I have decided to get one way tickets to London with a stopover in Asia. We’re going to take an Intrepid Tour around Thailand for a couple of weeks, which includes Bangkok and a couple of islands, and then spend a few days in Phuket once the tour is finished.
And then on to Europe! We’re leaving on 27 April, and will probably spend about a month travelling round (I want to be in Paris for my birthday) and then start working in the UK to save enough for a few months backpacking round Europe.
Paris is great- but you should also visit Vienna!
