There's No Place Like Home

I arrived back in New Zealand 30 hours after leaving London, with 26 of those hours spent flying. It was great to be home, and it felt so surreal that only hours before arriving in Christchurch I was on the other side of the world!

I was happy to be leaving the English winter behind for a New Zealand summer, especially after spending some time watching these:


(And yes, that is Brett from Flight of the Conchords!)



Although I'm enjoying being back there is still so much travelling I want to do! I definitely expect to be back in Europe in a couple of years, hopefully as part of a spectacular world tour!

  1. I rather envy you, being somewhere nice and warm right now! It's a shame we didn't get to meet up in the end - my life has been somewhat chaotic over the last few months!

  2. Yeah, it definitely would have been good to meet! Next time I'm in the UK or if you come over to NZ we'll have to sort something out!

  3. I'm an Aussie and I still felt home sick watching the first vid. Sausage BBQ and Icy poles by the beach. I'm there.
